Dt's Training Tune of the Month:  "Under Pressure" by Queen with David Bowie- It's race season and we're going with must-deliver-power songs.  If this can't get you going check your pulse.

What is a Dt training session like? First, you'll always know the details on training from our website, Facebook posting, or weekly newsletter.  Dt trains from April through September almost every Saturday. We usually meet anywhere between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM depending on distance and time of season. Sometimes we'll have two meeting times.  When the team gathers we do introductions, go over the workout and routes and review safety protocols.  All swims are accompanied and specifically made out to the ability of the athlete.  All our bike rides are no drop - a coach stays with the last rider and we have the tradition of the first riders returning to the back of the pack after they finish.  The same with the run.  For Breakfast the first athlete there has to reserve the table.  We have athletes that attend all 25 weeks of training and some who come for a few.  The coaching staff always briefs the athlete one-on-one after workouts.
